Datum: 27.07.2009 The Latvian Investment and Development Agency has published a brochure on business opportunities in the R&D sector in Latvia. The country has strong and historically based R&D traditions. World class specialists work in materials science, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, ICT, and other fields. Consequently, the country can pride itself in numerous globally competitive high-technology companies that have succeeded in using the knowledge derived from scientific institutions.
